Arsenal youngster Chido Martin Obi scored seven goals for the club's under-18 side in their 9-0 win at Norwich City on Saturday.

Martin Obi, 16, netted five goals in the first half -- scoring the first his two hat tricks in the first 17 minutes of the game -- and added another two after the break to take his tally to 24 goals in his last seven games.

However, that is not even the Danish forward's biggest haul of the season. In November, he netted 10 goals in one match for Arsenal's U16s in a 14-3 win over Liverpool.

The result puts Arsenal third in the U18 Premier League South, seven points behind leaders Chelsea who have a game in hand on them and second-placed West Ham United.

Earlier this week Elite Project Group, the same agency that represents Arsenal star Bukayo Saka, announced that it had added Martin Obi to its stable of athletes.

Martin Obi, who has a Nigerian father and a Danish mother, has represented both Denmark and England at international youth level.
